Ye’Ole Straight~n~Strop Shop (YEOSS) was founded in 2016 with one goal: bring vintage straight razors and classic strops back to life without losing what made them special in the first place.

Some pieces need a careful clean and a true edge. Others need a full rescue — hardware, scales, corrosion management, and a finish that’s ready for daily use. The difference is always in the details: geometry, comfort, and the way the blade behaves on the stone and on the strop.

If you’re a collector, a daily shaver, or you’ve got grandpa’s razor in a drawer, you’re in the right place. Mail-in work is welcome, and I’ll confirm the plan before any major changes are made.

  • Full razor (both sides)
  • Close-up of tang stamp
  • Spine + edge close-ups
  • Any rust/pitting/problem areas

Strop photos

  • Full strop length (both sides)
  • Close-ups of nicks/cuts
  • Hardware (clips, handle, rivets)
  • Any cracks/dry spots
